Originally built in the early 1920s, Finn Apartments is a modestly historical building located in Midtown Detroit. The building, previously the H.R. Finn Apartments, is an almost 23,000-square-foot landmark for the city.
In an already up-and-coming location, the renovation of this mixed-use development will increase the density and the walkability of the block. Detroit’s growing urban innovation and development is nothing short of extraordinary—and the revitalization of this impressive building speaks to that.
This gorgeous, classic building was renovated into a luxury apartment residence. Brandon Duckett, owner of the real estate development firm Duckett Management Inc., fell in love with the city while on vacation with his family. After the $3.7 million renovation, Finn Apartments hosts a total of 28 studios and one bedroom apartments, along with two commercial office spaces.
Finn Apartments in the Media
The development of Finn Apartments has captured the attention of local media. The location is only blocks away from the popular, new restaurant Selden Standard, the soon to be new Detroit Red Wings Arena and Wayne State University. In the middle of such a popular section of Midtown Detroit, it’s easy to see why it’s drawn so much advocacy.
Local channel 7 also spotlighted the development and the growing popularity of Midtown Detroit, saying, “the historic, but modest building is located just around the corner from Selden Standard, the popular restaurant that has brought new life to the area.”
